this poem really brings out the mind of seniors, you see, in most of there minds they think like this but there loved ones won't listen or take action on what the senior would like to do with his/her time. like for instance i just got back from a weekend trip with my grandfather. he has lung cancer and blood clots all throughout his body, yet he still asked me to take him along on my trip. Now my trip wasn't what you would call a 'seniors vacation'. i went with three of my high school friends B.A.S.E. jumping now for those of you who dont know what that is:
B uilding
A ntenna(an uninhabited tower such as an aerial mast)
S pan (a bridge or arch)
E arth (a cliff or other natural formation)
my grndfather later said to his son - my father. "that was the most fun that i have ever had." he did actually jump too. my friends didn't think he would but i know him. after breaking his back twice and still walking he's a tough one. so this poem really brings out the badass in all Seniors. |
